With the increasing adoption of inkjet marking, more and more coding equipment has emerged in the market, widely applied in industries such as food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, building materials, decorative materials, automotive parts, and electronic components. It is suitable for processing variable data including express bills, invoices, serial numbers, batch numbers, pharmaceutical box printing, anti-counterfeit labels, QR codes, text, numbers, cartons, passport numbers, and all other variable values. So, how to effectively perform daily maintenance and care for inkjet cartridges?
To achieve optimal printing quality, regularly clean excess ink from the cartridge printhead.
1. Prepare non-woven fabric, deionized water (purified water), and industrial alcohol specifically for solvent cartridges.
2. Moisten the non-woven fabric with the liquid, lay it flat on the table, place the cartridge printhead facing down, and gently wipe the nozzle. Note: Avoid excessive force or using dry cloth to prevent scratching the nozzle.
3. Repeat wiping the cartridge nozzle two to three times until two continuous ink lines appear.
4. After cleaning, the cartridge printhead surface should be residue-free and leak-free.
How to determine if the cartridge printhead requires cleaning?
1. If dried ink residue is visible on the nozzle, cleaning is required (cartridges that have been unused for extended periods or stored after use must be cleaned before reuse).
2. If the nozzle exhibits ink leakage, after cleaning, place the cartridge horizontally and observe for 10 minutes. If leakage persists, discontinue use immediately.
3. No cleaning is needed for printheads that print normally and show no ink residue.
If dried ink residue is present on the nozzle, cleaning is required.
Maintain an appropriate distance between the cartridge printhead and the printing surface.
1. The ideal printing distance between the cartridge printhead and the printing surface is 1mm - 2mm.
2. Maintaining this proper distance ensures optimal printing quality.
3. If the distance is too high or too low, it will result in blurred printing.
OBOOC Solvent Ink Cartridges deliver exceptional performance with a resolution of up to 600×600 DPI and a maximum printing speed of 406 meters/minute at 90 DPI.
1. High Compatibility: Compatible with various inkjet printer models and a wide range of printing media, including porous, semi-porous, and non-porous substrates.
2. Long Open-Time: Extended cap-off resistance ideal for intermittent printing, ensuring smooth ink flow and preventing nozzle clogs.
3. Rapid Drying: Quick-drying without external heating; strong adhesion prevents smudging, broken lines, or ink pooling, enabling efficient and uninterrupted operation.
4. Durability: Prints remain clear and legible with excellent adhesion, stability, and resistance to light, water, and fading.
